Open & Sunny Saltbox Central to all of Acadia

Clean. Well supplied. Location is perfect. It is close to the primary attractions and towns and the Park is right there. However, it is far enough from the crowds to give a feeling of seclusion.

Easy check-in. Very well stocked kitchen. Great location on the quiet, less crowded side of Mt Desert. Southwest Harbor just down the road and an easy drive to enter Acadia or go into Bar Harbor to shop or eat. Jen was a delight to deal with; she answered all my questions promptly.

House was spotless and generously stocked with everything we could need. We especially appreciated the well-organized and labeled kitchen. Property management could not have been more responsive. When we needed a tutorial on using the dryer, help showed up right away, the day before 4th of July! Central location perfect for exploring the island and layout of house flexible to accommodate our extended-family party. Thank you for an excellent stay!

We had a wonderful fall weekend at the Sunny Saltbox. Perfectly located for enjoying both the quiet side of the island and the busy side. Very comfortable accommodations, which were perfect for family.

The house is in a great location! Very clean also.
